The below structure should be followed for the publishing a book chapter (in academic books) but it will be relaxed in certain cases.

1. Title of the book chapter

Title of the book chapter must be clear and represent the content(s) of the book chapter.

2. Author names

Write the author names under this section.

3. Abstract and keywords

Write abstract in 500 words and specify keywords upto 5.

4. Abbreviations

If the authors used any abbreviations in the book chapter, they should mention those abbreviations along with the full form in this section. For the first time usage of the abbreviation in the book chapter, the full form of the abbreviation must be written followed by specify the abbreviation in the brackets and thereafter you can use the abbreviation(s) only.

E.g.: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA), later you can use as “RA” instead of using the full form “Rheumatoid arthritis."

5. Introduction

Write the introduction briefly about the chapter.

6. Main Body / Text Body

You can write the rest of the book chapter under this section by specifying your own section titles.

6.1. Tables and illustrations

Author(s) must locate the table(s) and illustration(s) in the text wherever applicable. Write clear captions that should represent the contents of the table(s) (or) figure(s) and number all the table(s) and figure(s) in Arabic numerical only. Cite the table and figure numbers inside the text and locate wherever applicable and no need to mention separately.

7. Conclusions

Write your conclusions under this section.

8. Acknowledgements

It is optional. If authors would like to express their gratitude, they can express in this section (try to finish in one paragraph).

9. Conflict of interest

Specify if you have any conflicts with this work. Otherwise specify under this section as "The authors declare no conflict of interest."

10. References

References should be at the end of each chapter. Cite all the references inside the chapter and number accordingly their (references) citation in the chapter, but not in the alphabetical order of the references.

10.1. Citation of the References

Inside the text, it must be indicated as “[1], [2],” etc.

If the author(s) wants to indicate 2 (or) 3 (or) more references of continuous numbered, those should be cited as [1-3] but not [1, 2, 3]. If the references are not continuous, then mention as [1, 3, 5] (or) somewhere continuous and another is not continuous, then mention as [1-3, 5, 7].

Format: Author names. Title of the book chapter. In: Editor names (ed). Title of the book, edition. Publisher name, Country, Published year, page numbers (from -to).
(Specify all the names of authors and editors wherever applicable followed by the initial or surname. No need to mention the "et al").

It is optional, but it is appreciated if you mention the keywords with their page numbers.
